OFFICES FOR A WEB DESIGN COMPANY

Creativity, communication, transgression. These are the concepts that define this internet software company's

offices. The main wall is decorated with a 34m2 graffiti that pays homage to Susan Kare's iconography created for Apple. Vitale proposed an open plan office space using organic shapes. The coloured glass panels contrast with the white walls and create a futuristic, dynamic and refreshing atmosphere that reflects the company's philosophy.

eco-note: As part of the design process a study of how to reduce the electricity needed in lighting, heating and air conditioning.

MUSEUM

The Alcora Ceramics Museum approached Vitale for a project to assign the distribution of space and design of display cabinets in the museum. Vitale's proposal was inspired by the irregular shape of the building, and allows for versatility and easy maintenance when changing collections on display. The final result is a neutral space where the work on display becomes the focal point.

eco-note: A study was undertaken on the ergonomics of the display cabinets and the positioning of explanatory texts to enable them to be seen by wheelchair users and children (lowering them from 160cm to 130cm).

OFFICES FOR A FURNITURE COMPANY

In the design of these offices, the lighting is the key to creating the right atmosphere. Dark and light are contrasted to create this effect. Indirect light is used to illuminate the corridors, and the dark woodwork creates a sombre but welcoming atmosphere.

GLOBAL PROJECT FOR AN ALUMINUM COMPANY

The starting point for the design of the company's facilities was the design of a new corporate identity. A global strategy was employed to design all aspects of the brand. The new headquarters make great use of aluminum and reflect many possible uses for this versatile material throughout the space and furniture.

HOME INTERIOR PROJECT

A family home designed based on the principles of functionality, moderation and open space. The staircase is the nerve centre of the home, and is made of smoked glass, that allows natural light to pass from one floor to another and creates a connection between the common areas and spaces.

OFFICES FOR A LAW FIRM

The starting point for this project was to design a new communication strategy for the firm. Vitale undertook the design of all elements and environments relating to the brand. The new offices provide a functional, light and airy space that conserves the original architectural features of the building and using natural and neutral tones. This creates a calm atmosphere that inspires trust and projects a positive corporate image.
