BENICASIM, (CASTELLÓN) SPAIN | 150 m2 | 2014
With the challenge of turning an old bank branch in a traditional pizzeria, Vitale studio designs a warm and inviting space inspired by the elegance of the typical Mediterranean villas. The project integrates elements of traditional architecture such as crown molding, wood blinds or hydraulic style tiles. The use of noble materials, sober and natural materials underlines the importance of fresh and authentic ingredients for Sicilian cuisine.
The space is structured with a change of the flooring and the ceiling height that marks the entrance area of the restaurant giving prominence.
